Control strategy evaluation of air conditioning system based on data envelopment analysis

Sets up an operation benchmark of air conditioning system based on the data envelopment analysis, and evaluates the improvement potential of air conditioning system based on the operation benchmark. Establishes an exergy analytical model of air conditioning system using the exergy analytical method, and obtains the ideal operating status of air conditioning system under certain operating conditions using the particle swarm optimization algorithm. Taking an airport terminal air conditioning system as the research object, evaluates five kinds of control strategies using the data envelopment analysis. The evaluation results show that the technical efficiency (0.806) of optimal load allocation control strategy is larger than that of other control strategies, and its improvement potential is the minimum (19.4%) when compared with other control strategies, indicating that the optimal load allocation control strategy is the best one. According to the values of technical efficiency, obtains the ranking of the five kinds of control strategies.
